How to properly store and care for Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll to ensure its stickiness and quality are not affected?

Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll (self-adhesive vinyl roll) is widely used in advertising, decoration, sign production and other fields due to its unique stickiness and durability. However, incorrect storage and maintenance methods can seriously affect its stickiness and quality, causing problems when the membrane is in use.

1. Storage environment
Temperature control: The optimal storage temperature of Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll is usually between 20℃ and 25℃. Temperatures that are too high or too low can cause adhesive failure or web deformation. Therefore, temperature control equipment should be installed in storage locations to ensure temperature stability.
Humidity control: Humidity also has a great impact on the stickiness of the roll. If the humidity is too high, the adhesive will absorb moisture and reduce its viscosity; if the humidity is too low, the membrane may become brittle and affect its service life. Therefore, storage locations should be equipped with humidity control equipment to maintain humidity within the range of 50% to 60%.
Light protection: Prolonged direct sunlight can cause fading and aging of the membrane. Therefore, the storage location should be chosen to be dark and ventilated, or the roll should be covered with light-shielding cloth or other items.
Ground requirements: The coil should be placed on a flat, dry, dust-free ground to prevent the coil from getting damp, deformed or contaminated.

2. Storage method
Store vertically: Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll should be stored vertically to avoid bending or folding of the roll to maintain its flatness and stickiness.
Avoid heavy pressure: Heavy objects should not be placed on the membrane to avoid crushing the membrane or affecting its stickiness.
Clear markings: Rolls of different specifications, colors, and uses should be stored separately and clearly marked so that they can be quickly found during use.

3. Daily maintenance
Regular cleaning: The surface of the coil should be cleaned regularly to remove dust, oil and other contaminants. When cleaning, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid using chemical cleaners or water.
Waterproof and Moistureproof: Choose a dry and well-ventilated place to store Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll. A humid environment will cause the membrane to absorb moisture, thus affecting its waterproof and moisture-proof performance. Membranes should not be placed directly on the ground, but should be raised using pallets or racks to avoid contact with moisture on the ground. Although the temperature requirements of Self-adhesive Vinyl Roll are not as strict as some materials, excessive temperatures will accelerate its aging, so you should try to avoid storing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Regular inspection: Check the coil regularly to see if there is any damage, deformation or contamination. If found, it should be processed or replaced in time.

4. Precautions for use
Inspection before use: Before using the coil, check whether its viscosity, color and specifications meet the requirements. If any abnormality occurs, stop using it and consult a professional.
Even coating: When applying adhesive, make sure you apply it evenly and avoid creating bubbles or voids.
Laminating temperature: When laminating the membrane, ensure that the ambient temperature is appropriate and avoid operating in high or low temperatures.
Avoid stretching: During the lamination process, avoid excessive stretching of the roll material to avoid affecting its flatness and stickiness.
